    Stand Up Fulton Mentor Celebration

    Stand Up Fulton

A celebration was held on May 7 at the FCS Administration Center to honor district staff members who served as Stand Up Fulton mentors for the 2023-2024 school year. The gathering brought together district mentors, SAFE Center staff, Office of Student Supports leaders and our Stand Up for Kids partners to acknowledge and celebrate the significant impact these mentors have had on students’ lives. Attendees enjoyed light refreshments and the opportunity to collaborate and share experiences. The atmosphere was one of gratitude and community spirit, truly encapsulating the value and importance of mentorship in shaping young lives. Overall, the celebration was a resounding success, leaving mentors feeling valued and inspired to continue their important work.

    SHOUT OUTS!

Shout, shout it all out! We love featuring our favorite FCS cafeteria staff, custodians, bus drivers, front office personnel, teachers, co-workers, department staff or a favorite FCS friend to give them the spotlight they deserve. Who do you want to celebrate? Send your submissions to educatornews@fultonschools.org.

    Andrea Yenrick and Erin Amideo

Andrea Yenrick and Erin Amideo, the PBIS coaches at Medlock Bridge Elementary, host a PBIS podcast titled "Dude That's Rude" to help students improve their cafeteria behavior. Each week, the PBIS coaches act out a behavior issue and offer alternatives to a more appropriate behavior. The students watch eagerly to see which class will win a popcorn party for exemplifying good cafeteria behavior. This team is amazing, and the school truly enjoys watching their show every single Friday!
