FCS School Psychology Department
  • Our Mission

To empower students, educators, and families through comprehensive, data-driven services that prioritize collaboration, consultation, assessment and advocacy to ensure all students have access to learning environments that allow them to thrive academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally

  • About Our School Psychologists

School psychologists are uniquely qualified members of school teams that support students' ability to learn and teachers' ability to teach. They provide direct and indirect support to students, consult with teachers, families, and other student service professionals (e.g., school counselors and school social workers) to improve support strategies, and work with school administrators to improve school-wide practices. Our school psychologists apply expertise in learning, behavior, and mental health to help schools:

    • Improve academic achievement
    • Promote positive behavior
    • Support diverse learners
    • Strengthen family-school partnerships
    • Monitor student progress in academics
    • Create accepting and positive school climates

How to Contact a School Psychologist

Every school has access to the services of a school psychologist. Our school psychologists serve two or more schools, so they may not be at a particular school every day. Most often, school psychologists can be reached by inquiring directly at the school. To find your school psychologist, please see the list below.
